Christine Jun, M.D., is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Supportive Care Medicine, specializing in palliative medicine. After receiving her medical degree from University of Illinois Chicago, she completed an internal medicine residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston and was then on staff as a hospitalist at the University of Chicago for five years. Recognizing a love for caring for the most vulnerable patients, she returned to a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at the University of California San Diego, then joined City of Hope in the Department of Supportive Care Medicine.
Dr. Jun strives to provide the best care possible for every patient by understanding what is most important to them and their loved ones. She is passionate about serving the most vulnerable patients, at home and globally. She has participated in medical mission trips around the world, including North Korea, China, Guinea Bissau, Honduras and Mexico. She volunteers as a board member for the Healthcare for Peace Foundation and Global Medical Missions Alliance and looks forward to resuming her travels. Her academic interests include global health, medical education and advance care planning.
