Double board-certified in anesthesiology and emergency medicine, Michael J. Sullivan, M.D., is the chair of the Department of Anesthesiology at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte.
After earning his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, Dr. Sullivan completed an internship and residency in emergency medicine at Martin Luther King Jr./Drew University Medical Center in Compton, California. He completed his training with an anesthesiology residency at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center.
A member of professional organizations including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Dr. Sullivan has received numerous awards for his commitment to service and clinical research, and he has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals.
