Medical oncologist Neha Patil, M.D., is a second-generation physician who has made her father’s guidance — “Always remember, the patient comes first” — a cornerstone of her medical practice. Triple board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine, she serves patients at City of Hope® Antelope Valley, offering leading-edge treatment options emerging from oncologic research.
Dr. Patil earned her medical degree at the Jawahar Medical Foundation’s ACPM Medical College in Dhule, India, then went no to complete an internal medicine residency at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. While pursuing subspecialty training in hematology and oncology at Henry Ford Health System at Wayne State University in Detroit, she served as chief administrative fellow, was voted fellow of the year and received the Robert Chapman, M.D., Outstanding Fellow Award.
The co-author of 11 peer-reviewed publications when she joined City of Hope in 2024, Dr. Patil has been recognized with the Gynecologic Oncology Group Foundation’s Young Investigator Travel Award. Previously, she was a senior staff physician and lab director for hematology-oncology at North Mississippi Medical Center.
