Nikki Zahabi, D.O.

Nikki Zahabi, D.O., is an assistant clinical professor with a strong background in internal medicine and critical care. Named the Critical Care Intern of the Year and chief resident during her medical training, she has earned a reputation for her broad depth of clinical knowledge and ability to assess and care for the many clinical concerns that often accompany a cancer diagnosis. At City of Hope, she focuses on treating infusion care patients.
Dr. Zahabi most recently worked as an internist at Hoag Medical Group, where she treated patients in an outpatient setting and developed and implemented their treatment plans. She has also served several internships in medical research. Raised in Orange County, Dr. Zahabi enjoys treating a diverse patient population.
Dr. Zahabi earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and cell biology from University of California San Diego and a doctoral degree in osteopathic medicine from Alabama College of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. Her interest in medicine was inspired by her brother who is challenged by autism, and she frequently supports organizations assisting the autism community.
