Sarah Kwon Yip, M.D., wanted to become a physician since she was a small child, driven by the urge to help others. In her specialty as a pediatric anesthesiologist, she enjoys the hands-on nature of her work and the chance to focus on each individual patient during a surgical case.

Dr. Yip joined City of Hope in 2022 from Weill Cornell Medicine, where she served as an instructor and assistant attending anesthesiologist at New York — Presbyterian Hospital.
