Medical oncologist Thanh Doan, M.D., aims to treat breast cancer patients the same way she would want her family to be treated. She sees her work as an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives and is excited by progress in the field of oncology overall.
Dr. Doan came aboard at City of Hope because of the palpable sense of hope that patients receive along with help from the institution’s compassionate experts. She is active in research as well as activities that foster online education for health care providers, benefit under-served youth and cultivate among them an interest in medical careers, including chances to be a mentor. She has participated in medical missions to Ecuador and Haiti.
In her free time, Dr. Doan likes to play tennis, hike, take photographs, draw and paint.
