Yung Ray Jow, M.D., M.P.H., is a clinical professor of anesthesiology at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte. With more than 30 years’ experience in his field, Dr. Jow has dedicated his career to providing high-quality clinical care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including obstetrics, neurology, pediatrics and intensive care.
Board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), Dr. Jow earned his medical degree at the National Taiwan University of Medicine, Taiwan’s top medical school. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, and anesthesiology residencies at the University of Chicago Medical Center and St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, affiliated with Columbia University in New York City.
Dr. Jow holds a master’s in public health from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and received one of the top three scores nationally when completing his ABA board exam. Having lived in Southern California for nearly 25 years, he is proud to be giving back to his community by bringing innovative care to patients across the region.
