Reza Mostofi, M.D.
Dr. Mostofi was born in Iran and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area at a young age. He studied biological sciences with an emphasis in neuroscience, physiology and behavior at University of California Davis. He received his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine and went on to complete his internal medicine residency and hematology and oncology fellowship at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He served as chief fellow during his final year.
Dr. Mostofi brings more than a decade of oncology experience to City of Hope. He served as assistant professor of medicine at Temple University School of Medicine for over three years during his time at Crozer Regional Cancer Center, a Fox Chase Cancer Center affiliate. Well-versed in all malignancies, he is particularly drawn to the treatment of multiple myeloma, as well as lung, colon and breast cancer.
