PGY1 Residents

Kaycey Pearce
Kaycey Pearce, Pharm.D., received her Bachelor of Science degree in physiological science from the University of California Los Angeles and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy. Prior to City of Hope, she interned at Cedars Sinai Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Center in Los Angeles. As a PGY1 resident at City of Hope, she is looking forward to expanding her clinical skills and research in the oncology setting. Her professional interests include hematology/oncology and hematopoietic cell transplantation. She enjoys binge watching Korean drama, specifically in a horizontal position while eating dried squid and drinking non-diet Coke, on her true days off (prior to residency). She is also happily married and resides in Santa Monica and commutes daily to City of Hope.

Sharon Xu
Sharon Xu, Pharm.D., received her Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and cell biology from the University of California San Diego and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California San Francisco School of Pharmacy. Prior to City of Hope, she interned at Dignity Health St. Francis Memorial Hospital and Walgreens Specialty Clinic in San Francisco. As a PGY1 resident at City of Hope, she is looking forward to expanding her knowledge in the oncology setting. Her professional interests include hematology/oncology, adoptive cell therapy, and pediatrics. She enjoys exploring the LA area, hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with friends and family.

PGY2 Residents

Hanna Kim
Hanna Kim, Pharm.D., received her bachelor's degrees in molecular and cell biology and film studies at the University of California Berkeley and received her Pharm.D. at the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. She completed her PGY1 at Corpus Christi Medical Center in Texas where she gained critical care experiences at a level 2 trauma hospital. As a new PGY2 resident in hematology/oncology, she is excited for the opportunities to learn and nurture her clinical competency in hematologic and solid tumor malignancies with the most advanced treatment modalities and cancer care at City of Hope. Being back in California, she looks forward to the almost perfect weather, flea markets and canyon hiking trails.

Brian Lee
Brian Lee, Pharm.D., received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California and his Bachelor of Science degree in cellular and molecular biology from California State University Fullerton. Prior to City of Hope, he worked at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach from 2011 to 2020 as a pharmacy technician and intern pharmacist. He completed his PGY-1 pharmacy residency at City of Hope in Duarte, California, and is currently a PGY-2 hematology/oncology pharmacy resident at City of Hope. His professional interests include hematology/oncology and critical care. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and tennis, and spending time with family and friends.
