Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Application Process
Eligibility requirements
- Must have received all medical school education and graduates from a program listed in this link: Medical Schools Recognized by the Medical Board of California
- Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited Hematology and Medical Oncology program in the U.S.
- Must be eligible for a California Medical License
- At the time of entry into the fellowship program all applicants will be board-eligible or board-certified under the auspices of the American Board of Internal Medicine.

- A personal statement describing your interest in and commitment to a career in Hematology and Medical Oncology
- Three letters of recommendation, one of which should be from the applicant's department head, program director or division chief
- USMLE (U.S. Medical Licensing Examination) transcripts
