Catherine Chan, D.O.
Catherine Chan, D.O., embraces her specialty in internal medicine because it allows her to provide the kind of personalized care she would want her own family to receive. She takes her role helping patients understand the potential benefits and risks of different treatment options seriously. When working with the people who turn to her for care, she emphasizes collaboration and a holistic approach focused on treating the whole patient, not just the illness, in keeping with City of Hope tradition.
During her postgraduate training at the University of Arizona, Dr. Chan was recognized as resident of the year and intern of the year. In addition, she has cultivated experience working with underserved populations, such as unhoused people and immigrants, as well as participating in medical missions to Uganda and Honduras.
Dr. Chan was raised in Arcadia, California, and is excited to give back to the community that shaped her childhood.
