Ferra Lin-Duffy, D.O., F.A.C.O.S., is an assistant clinical professor in the Division of Breast Surgery, serving patients at both City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte and City of Hope South Pasadena. Dr. Lin-Duffy believes in a collaborative approach to cancer care, working with patients, their loved ones and their cancer care teams to offer advanced and minimally invasive surgical options for treating breast cancer.
Dr. Lin-Duffy earned her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, before completing a residency in general surgery at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in Arkansas.
In addition to having published multiple peer-reviewed articles in her field, Dr. Lin-Duffy is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. She has also taken part in medical missions in American Samoa and the Dominican Republic and is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese.
