City of Hope South Pasadena cares for patients from prevention through survivorship by pairing our expertise in numerous cancers and conditions with world-class technologies and services.
Our South Pasadena location features an open and inviting infusion room with comfortable chairs, state-of-the-art equipment for more precise imaging and radiation treatment. We also offer complimentary beverages and snacks plus free guest Wi-Fi. Our goal is to make our patients’ time here as easy and stress-free as possible.
Express Check-In Kiosk
After your first visit, you can access our self-check-in kiosk and be able to:
- Check in for your appointments and print your itinerary
- Make a payment online with Visa, MasterCard or Discover (debit/credit)
- Sign up for the MyCityofHope patient portal
Please note, the kiosk service is not available if you are visiting for the first time, your name and insurance has changed since your last visit, or if you will be making your co-payment with cash, check or debit card.
Is My Insurance Accepted?
View a list of insurance companies that City of Hope currently contracts with for its locations and physicians. Even if your plan is included, check with your insurance company to make sure you are covered. Your insurance company/medical group will tell you if you need any authorizations.
If you wish to receive treatment at City of Hope, but we're not currently contracted with your insurance plan, contact your insurance company and ask about obtaining authorization to receive treatment here.
No Surprise Billing
When you're treated by an out-of-network provider at an in-network facility, you are protected from balance billing. In these cases, you shouldn't be charged more than your plan's copayments, coinsurance and/or deductible. Learn about your rights and protections against surprise medical bills.
Clarke Anderson, M.D., is City of Hope's go-to professional for handling difficult and often heart-rending cases of cancer in small children, especially neuroblastomas, or tumors of the central nervous system.
Loretta Erhunmwunsee, M.D., is a thoracic surgeon and an assistant professor in City of Hope's Division of Thoracic Surgery. She sees patients with lung, esophageal and mediastinal tumors. Her research focuses on eliminating health inequity in thoracic oncology patients.
Jae Y. Kim, M.D., is the chief of the Division of Thoracic Surgery and an associate professor in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Kim specializes in esophageal cancer and lung cancer, robotic surgery, mesothelioma and thymoma.
Our light and bright 25,000-square-foot medical facility offers multiple exam and treatment rooms for patient comfort and convenience, expanding access to City of Hope’s world-class cancer care.
