Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials
Our clinical trials aim to improve prostate cancer outcomes across the spectrum of the disease, from early to late stage. We're using a range of methods to treat prostate cancer, including focused ultrasound to destroy cancer cells, identifying and incorporating biomarkers for better detection of prostate cancer development, progression and recurrence. We're doing this with neural stem cells to target and deliver cancer-fighting drugs to prostate cancer cells throughout the body, and new imaging methods to detect microscopic disease outside the prostate. We also use reengineered immune cells to target and attack prostate cancer throughout the body and examine the benefits of surgery for patients with metastatic prostate cancer. Additionally, we use natural therapies, such as white mushroom powder, to help prevent prostate cancer recurrence.
