Made possible by a transformative $100 million gift, The Cherng Family Center for Integrative Oncology at City of Hope is committed to evolving the standard of care for cancer patients nationwide by investigating the potential benefits of a wide range of integrative therapies, including many traditional Eastern approaches to health and well-being. Our vision is to shape a new standard of care — one that truly treats the whole patient and expands access to high-quality integrative care that is supported by the research we conduct right here at City of Hope.
The Cherng Center works closely with other clinical teams and research teams at City of Hope as well as our Department of Supportive Care Medicine to offer integrative care options for patients in Southern California. While we are continually working to add new integrative services, our current program includes a wide range of options, such as integrative oncology consultations, mind-body approaches such as meditation, acupuncture, massage therapy, art and music therapy, yoga and tai chi.

The Judy & Bernard Briskin Center for Clinical Research unifies our clinical research and trials programs in a newly renovated, modern facility on our main campus in Duarte, California.
In keeping with our mission to care for the whole person — physically and emotionally — City of Hope is one of the few cancer centers in the country to offer patients and their caregivers temporary, on-site housing in a comfortable, relaxing setting. The historic Briskin Hope Village bungalows are located in a park-like setting with lush lawns and mature trees. Designed for patients who are ready to leave the hospital, but not quite ready for home.
The Judy & Bernard Briskin Imaging Center is an ultramodern digital imaging facility that uses the leading-edge technology to diagnose and treat all types of cancers.
A recognized leader in apheresis, donor matching and marrow transplants, City of Hope’s Amini Center is one of the largest hospital-based donor centers in the country. Here, in a safe and caring environment, families, friends and generous members of the community donate blood and platelets. Outpatient services at the Amini Center also include a day hospital for bone marrow transplant patients and outpatient surgery.
The Biller Resource Center provides a warm and welcoming space where patients, families and caregivers can access the resources, education and support they need to strengthen and empower themselves, before, during and after treatment.
The Women’s Center integrates plastic surgery and breast and gynecological cancer treatments with related services like imaging and genetic counseling. By assembling a large multidisciplinary team in one location, we are able to deliver truly coordinated care in a way that is convenient for our patients.
