Anna Ter-Zakarian, M.D., is a medical oncologist and assistant professor of medical oncology and therapeutics research at City of Hope® South Pasadena, where she treats a wide range of cancer types.
Dr. Ter-Zakarian earned both her medical degree and a Master of Science in global medicine at the University of Southern California’s (USC) Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles. She also holds an M.B.A. from the USC Marshall School of Business. After her internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Diego, she completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Scripps Cancer Center, also in San Diego.
Dr. Ter-Zakarian is a physician-scholar who has published peer-reviewed articles on topics such as blood pressure dynamics among individuals with hemophilia and the efficacy and safety of CAR T cell therapy for relapsed and refractory B-cell lymphomas. She joined City of Hope to be part of an institution known for its leadership in cutting-edge cancer research, compassionate care, and commitment to advancing the standard of treatment for patients everywhere.
