Medical oncologist Alexander Krule, M.D., M.S., brings advanced fellowship training and a patient-centered approach to City of Hope® Cancer Center Chicago. Board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, Dr. Krule sees patients with all solid malignancies with a specialty in diagnosing and treating breast cancer and high-risk patients with a family/genetic history of these diseases.
In his clinical practice Dr. Krule is embracing the potential of leading-edge artificial intelligence tools to predict a person’s risk for developing cancer and optimize patient treatment.
He was inspired to become a doctor by his lifelong love of science and health, and the oncologists who cared for his mother who was diagnosed with cancer while he was completing his medical education.
Dr. Krule received his medical degree from Tel Aviv University (American Medical Program) in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Outside of work, Dr. Krule enjoys gardening, live music, traveling, and sewing and quilting.
