Arnold Kim, M.D., is a dedicated anesthesiologist with a passion for patient care and safety. He chose to become a physician because he values the opportunity to earn someone's trust and make a real difference in their life. Dr. Kim is drawn to the responsibility of showing up for people when they need it most. He decided to specialize in anesthesiology due to the balance of analytical thinking and hands-on procedural skills required in the field. Dr. Kim's expertise includes general and neuraxial anesthesia techniques, as well as regional anesthesia skills with ultrasound guidance. He is known for his excellent teamwork with anesthesiology colleagues and the entire surgical team.
Dr. Kim attended medical school at Ohio State University and completed his anesthesiology residency at Cleveland Clinic. He has worked in various medical centers and ambulatory surgery centers in Southern California, delivering safe and effective anesthesia to patients. Dr. Kim is committed to community service and plans to raise his family in the Irvine/Orange County area, where he will serve his neighbors and local community.
Dr. Kim speaks Korean fluently, which is his first language.
