Elliot Ho, D.O., is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte, where he specializes in interventional pulmonary and critical care. Dr. Ho believes in a collaborative, compassionate approach founded on innovative treatments and patient education.
After earning his medical degree at the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, Dr. Ho completed an internal medicine residency at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center in Sylmar, California, a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the UCSF Fresno Medical Center in Fresno, California, and a fellowship in interventional pulmonology at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Board-certified in internal medicine and pulmonology, Dr. Ho became a physician to help others, choosing to focus on lung cancer after his grandfather fought the disease. A physician-scholar with more than 20 publications to his name, Dr. Ho has served as a faculty member and an administrator, overseeing development of multiple clinical programs, including those focusing on robotic-assisted bronchoscopy, pleuoroscopy and bronchoscopic lung volume reduction.
