Erin Yim, M.D., is a hospitalist at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte, where she cares for patients receiving treatment for a wide range of cancers, from helping manage symptoms related to their cancer or its treatments to offering bedside care as they recover from inpatient procedures.
Drawn to City of Hope by its reputation for innovation and commitment to patient-centered care, Dr. Yim is board-certified in internal medicine. She earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California and completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
After her undergraduate studies, Dr. Yim also completed a research fellowship focused on hematopoietic stem cells health disparities at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. She has continued to pursue her passion for research alongside her clinical work and is the author of multiple peer-reviewed papers.
Dr. Yim takes a collaborative and patient-centered approach to care, aiming to meet each patient’s unique needs with compassion and clinical excellence.
