Kevin Yoon, M.D., is a hematologist-oncologist and assistant clinical professor of medical oncology and therapeutics research at City of Hope® Antelope Valley, where he cares for patients with a wide range of cancer types and diagnoses.
Drawn to pursue a career in cancer care by his passion for lifelong learning and a desire to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives, Dr. Yoon takes a whole- person approach to clinical care, ensuring that patients feel supported throughout their cancer journey and that their individual goals and concerns are addressed compassionately and directly.
After earning his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, Dr. Yoon pursued an internal medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California, where he also served as chief resident. He then completed his hematology-oncology fellowship at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center in Sylmar, California. He has multiple publications in his field and is a member of several professional associations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
