As a physician, you have the ultimate opportunity to make the greatest impact on a patient's life ... I am truly honored to be a member of the City of Hope family.
Kourosh Golestany, M.D., takes a personal interest in each patient, striving to view each one holistically, beyond their various medical challenges. He deeply appreciates the faith his patients place in him. “When a patient shares their deepest concerns with me in hope of being healed, I feel honored to be trusted to this extent,” he says.
Educated in Iran, Dr. Golestany received his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. After nearly a decade of medical practice in Iran, Dr. Golestany arrived in the U.S. and continued his training at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Golestany specializes in hospital-based medicine, a discipline that brings him in close contact with patients at their most vulnerable time. He held hospitalist positions in Columbus before moving to Southern California to serve as a hospitalist at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster.
Dr. Golestany is excited to join the City of Hope family. “Working in an environment with so much innovation, research opportunities and excellent patient care only inspires me to become a better, more involved physician.”
