Mark Chang, D.O., is a medical oncologist and assistant clinical professor at City of Hope® Upland, where he works closely with patients diagnosed with a wide range of cancer types. His philosophy in the clinic is to treat the whole person, not just their disease, by providing compassionate, evidence-based cancer care.
Dr. Chang attended the A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona. He then completed an internal medicine residency at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a hematology-oncology fellowship at Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina. During his residency, he was named chief resident and awarded the Advocacy Award for his dedication to advocating for better cancer care for patients everywhere.
Dr. Chang has published articles in more than 10 peer-viewed journals and is a member of associations including the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
