Radiation Oncologist Meng Gan, M.D., works with patients undergoing treatment at City of Hope® Cancer Center Chicago, bringing expertise in a wide range of innovative radiation therapy techniques to each patient’s multidisciplinary cancer care team and helping develop personalized treatment plans for patients with diseases including breast, prostate and lung cancer.
Board-certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Gan believes in treating patients with a focus on compassion and education, helping them understand their cancer care options and make empowered decisions about their health. She is an expert in multiple radiation techniques, including 3-D conformal radiation therapy, intensity-modulated radiation therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, brachytherapy and volumetric-modulated arc therapy.
Dr. Gan received her medical degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She completed a preliminary internship in internal medicine at Loma Linda University in California, before completing her radiation oncology residency at the University of California, Irvine. She has multiple publications to her name and is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology.
