Olga Danilova, M.D., Ph.D.
- Hematopathology
- Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Pathology
Olga Danilova, M.D., Ph.D., graduated summa cum laude from Yaroslavl Medical Academy in Russia, where she also completed graduate studies in pharmacology. Dr. Danilova joined the molecular pathology laboratory at Tufts University School of Medicine in 2003, where she developed a research interest in lymphoid malignancies. Her studies have focused on the development of prognostic markers and novel therapies in chronic lymphocytic leukemia and lymphoma, with special emphasis on bench-to-bedside translation.
Dr. Danilova further pursued her clinical career at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical center where she completed residency in anatomic and clinical pathology in 2013 and hematopathology fellowship in 2014. Between 2014 and 2020, she served as a hematopathologist and medical director of hematology and transfusion services at Portland VA Health Care System. Her translational research efforts resulted in multiple collaborative publications and educational book chapters and reviews. Dr. Danilova is excited to join the world renowned team of experts at City of Hope®.
