Ashley Baker Lee is Senior Vice President of Research Operations at City of Hope, overseeing clinical and basic research operations and providing administrative leadership for Beckman Research Institute.
Ashley joined City of Hope in 2012 from John Wayne Cancer Institute in Santa Monica, where she served as chief administrative officer and led the development and implementation of the institute’s short- and long-term administrative and scientific strategic plans. Ashley was integral in the development of new business opportunities and the creation of new laboratory and clinical programs within the institute.
Previously, Ashley served as vice president of research administration and services and director of grants and contracts at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She also has served as director of grants and contracts at California School of Professional Psychology.
Ashley holds a bachelor’s degree in government and economics from Smith College and completed Harvard University’s Business School Executive Program.
