Jeffrey Schriber, M.D., F.R.C.P., is the chief of the hematologic malignancies program at City of Hope® Cancer Center Phoenix, where he leads a multidisciplinary team of specialists dedicated to the diagnosis and clinical management of all types and stages of hematologic malignancies and blood disorders, with a focus on providing innovative, leading-edge treatments and compassionate, personalized care.
Dr. Schriber works with patients with a wide range of cancer types, using the latest research and results from genomic testing to ensure that patients are educated about their condition and treatment options and that they receive a personalized care plan for their diagnosis. Options may include chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, stem cell transplantation and other leading-edge cellular therapies. In addition to treating patients, Dr. Schriber is dedicated to helping pioneer new research in the field of blood cancers through City of Hope’s renowned clinical trials program.
After earning his medical degree at the University of Toronto in Canada, Dr. Schriber stayed to complete both an internal medicine and hematology fellowship. He went on to complete a fellowship in bone marrow transplantation at Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, California. A member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Hematology and the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation, he is double board-certified in internal medicine and hematology and is a highly respected and well published scholar in the field of stem cell transplantation.
