As associate director of cellular therapy at City of Hope® Cancer Center Phoenix, Aileen Go, M.D., treats patients with hematologic malignancies, including blood cancers and bone marrow disorders, using state-of-the-art cellular therapies, stem cell transplantation and advanced molecular profiling techniques. Dr. Go is dedicated to developing new treatment options through leading-edge research and innovative clinical trials.
After attending medical school at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, Dr. Go completed her residency in internal medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. During her hematology/oncology fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois, she worked with stem cell transplant pioneer Dr. Patrick J. Stiff to help improve outcomes for elderly patients receiving treatment for acute myeloid leukemia.
Dr. Go is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist and a member of the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy and the American Society of Hematology. Her research has been published in major scientific journals and covers issues including refining high-dose chemoradiotherapy regimens to reduce treatment toxicity, cord blood stem cell transplantation and improving engraftment kinetics.
