Alexandra Wong, M.D., an assistant professor in the Department of Medical Oncology & Therapeutics Research at City of Hope® West Covina, is a physician-scholar focused on developing groundbreaking new therapies in the field of hematology-oncology. As a clinical provider, she recognizes the importance of creating individualized treatment plans for each patient, many of which incorporate leading-edge treatment options.
After earning her medical degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, Dr. Wong completed a residency and fellowship in hematology-oncology at USC/Los Angeles General Medical Center, where she also served as co-chief fellow. Board certified in internal medicine, she is a member of the American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Dr. Wong particularly enjoys the continuity of care that hematologist-oncologists have with their patients and is dedicated to supporting patients throughout their cancer journey.
