Diana DaBell, M.D., F.A.C.E.P., is a board-certified emergency medicine specialist who works with patients at City of Hope® Cancer Center Phoenix’s hospital and evaluation and treatment center.
Dr. DaBell evaluates patients experiencing emergency medical issues, provides outpatient treatment when appropriate or admits them for inpatient care. She also collaborates with the cancer care teams of current patients who require emergency intervention.
Some of the common emergency medicine needs that Dr. DaBell handles include managing patients’ intubation or intravenous needs, draining excess fluid from the chest or lungs and providing basic and advanced trauma and cardiac life support.
Dr. DaBell attended medical school at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, then went on to complete an emergency medicine residency at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo in New York, New York. She speaks English and fluent Czech.
