With more than 25 years’ experience in his field, Farid Zehtab, D.O., F.A.C.S., F.A.C.O.S., is an accomplished general surgeon with expertise in both conventional as well as laparoscopic and robotic surgeries.
At City of Hope® Cancer Center Phoenix, Dr. Zehtab plays a key role in patients’ multidisciplinary cancer care teams. He works closely with patients and their loved ones to determine whether a surgical approach to care may be appropriate for their unique diagnosis. He has a special focus on repairing and treating hernias.
A board-certified general surgeon, Dr. Zehtab received his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. He completed his general surgery residency at Kettering Health Dayton in Ohio.
Dr. Zehtab is a fluent Farsi speaker and is a member of professional organizations and societies, including the the American College of Surgeons.
