Garland S. Dodoo, M.D., is a hospitalist and associate clinical professor of hospital medicine at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte, where he works with patients and their cancer care teams to provide compassionate, patient-centered care for a wide variety of health issues.
Dr. Dodoo prioritizes a personalized approach to care founded in clinical excellence and a strong desire to serve others. He attended the University of Ghana Medical School in Accra, before continuing his training with an internal medicine residency at Harlem Hospital in New York City. A board-certified hospital medicine physician, he has over a decade of experience caring for patients at health care institutions across Southern California and in New York City.
A member of the American Medical Association and American College of Physicians, Dr. Dodoo has received awards for his clinical and research work, presented at national conferences and published in peer-reviewed publications such as the Journal of the American Society of Nephrology.
