Gaurav Singh, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.M.S. is a dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon at City of Hope® Cancer Center Chicago, where he diagnoses and treats a wide range of cutaneous disorders including skin cancer. Dr. Singh is a double board-certified, fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon who has performed more than 10,000 Mohs surgeries — a specialized procedure that offers a 99% cure rate for many types of skin cancer with the least possible scarring.
In addition to treating skin cancer, Dr. Singh has expertise in treating cutaneous side effects of radiation and immunotherapy/chemotherapy, benign skin growths including their surgical removal, and inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. He is an expert in medically and surgically managing disorders of skin, hair and nails, and is adept with cosmetic procedures. His approach to care is to ensure patients are educated about their health and their treatment options.
After earned his medical degree and Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Dr. Singh completed an internship at the University of Miami Hospitals, a residency in dermatology at New York University Langone Health where he was selected as chief resident and a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at the University of California, in San Diego, California.
