Victor M. Orellana-Noia, M.D., M.Sc., is assistant clinical professor in the Division of Lymphoma, Department of Hematology and Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte. He specializes in diagnosing and treating all types of lymphoma, including chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and is committed to delivering compassionate, personalized care to patients across Southern California and beyond.
After earning his medical degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College, Dr. Orellana-Noia completed an internal medicine residency at Brown University and a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the University of Virginia. Prior to joining City of Hope, he served on faculty at Emory University, where he earned a master’s degree in clinical research and was supported by a National Institutes of Health K12 Career Development Award.
Board-certified in hematology, medical oncology and internal medicine, Dr. Orellana-Noia designs clinical trials to advance lymphoma treatment. His research has been published in leading journals including Blood, Journal of Clinical Oncology and The Lancet. He believes patients should always be at the center of clinical research.
Outside of work, Dr. Orellana-Noia enjoys running, reading, music, and cooking elaborate meals for his family, including his three young children.
