The staff from the beginning I could see was above and beyond other staff members I have encountered in other hospitals. I felt welcomed and I can see that for City of Hope we are cared for as patients. This means so much to me. As a patient I already feel nervous because I know I will need surgery but having the first initial contact with the staff and they made me feel less nervous.
