As an emergency medicine physician at City of Hope® Cancer Center Phoenix, Yousef M. Janajreh, M.D., provides critical care for patients with a wide range of complications, side effects or secondary conditions related to their cancer diagnosis or its treatment.
Dr. Janajreh is board certified in emergency medicine. In his work with patients at our Phoenix hospital, he often plays a key role in managing issues such as cardiac arrest, breathing problems, sepsis and adverse reactions to treatment. His goals are to help stabilize patients while providing a compassionate approach to care.
Dr. Janajreh attended the Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton, Pennsylvania, then went on to pursue an emergency medicine residency, starting at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City and completing it at the University of Arizona in Tuscon. He has multiple years’ experience caring for patients and also served as clinical instructor at the University of Arizona. A member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Dr. Janajreh is also a published scholar and a longtime advocate for community engagement projects that educate the public on medical and health issues.
