Zheng (Frank) Zhou, M.D., Ph.D., is a hematologist-oncologist and assistant clinical professor of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte, where he brings his expertise in leading-edge cellular therapies, including stem cell transplantation, and his patient-first approach to care to patients with blood cancers and disorders.
After receiving his medical degree at the Shanghai Medical University in China, Dr. Zhou earned a master’s in clinical biochemistry from the University of Newcastle Medical School in the United Kingdom and a Ph.D. in biostatistics and epidemiology at McGill University in Montreal. He completed an internship and residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester and a hematology/oncology clinical fellowship at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, where he received the Jameson Research Prize for Outstanding Research Contributions.
Dr. Zhou has co-authored dozens of peer-reviewed articles and served as principal investigator on a number of research projects focusing on stem cell patient outcomes. He is also actively involved in initiatives sponsored by the Center of International Blood and Marrow Transplantation.
