Hope Connection: An update to our community regarding the SoCal fires

Thank you for the outpouring of concern and support.

Dear friends,

Thank you for the outpouring of concern and support over the last few weeks. The devastating wildfires in Southern California have upended the lives of so many people in our community, including hundreds of City of Hope patients and team members.

Through it all, our City of Hope physicians, nurses, researchers and staff came together to put the needs of our patients first. Although we are continuing to monitor and assess the situation, our Duarte campus and care facilities are open and fully operational.

We have heard from people across the country who are eager to understand the impact of the fires and how they can support us. Below you will find just a few of many incredible stories of courage from the past few weeks:

Time and again, donors and volunteers like you show us there is always a reason to hope. Thank you for continuing to support our mission, even among the most challenging of circumstances.

With tremendous gratitude,

Kristin Bertell
