Covering the Cost of Travel for You and a Caregiver
We offer financial counselor support and assistance with transportation and other travel logistics for qualifying patients to help them get access to the care they need when they need it. Our experienced team will work with you in arranging the various aspects of your visit, from gathering your medical records to scheduling your appointments and, for qualifying patients, making your travel and lodging arrangements. *

Prior to Your Visit, a City of Hope Representative Will:
- Verify your insurance benefits
- Schedule your initial appointment
- Schedule your air or train travel*
- Reserve your accommodations at our on-site guest quarters or at a nearby hotel*
- Greet you at the airport or train station and bring you to the hospital, or to your nearby lodging site*
Once You Arrive, Our Cancer Center Provides:
- Concierge services (an information station at the hospital)
- On-site dining options
- Shuttle service to the airport*, local restaurants, shops and attractions
- Patient and caregiver activities, classes and support groups
- An on-site pharmacy/supplement center
- Free Wi-Fi throughout the hospital and outpatient locations
