Stadler will act as senior clinical leader for City of Hope Cancer Center Chicago, responsible for overall clinical care decisions and cancer care innovation. He will also serve patients as a medical oncologist specializing in advanced prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular disease. Additionally, he will hold an appointment as professor, Department of Medical Oncology & Therapeutics Research, with City of Hope.

“With Dr. Stadler at the helm of our clinical programs, we are strengthening our commitment to delivering the most advanced therapies, pioneering research, and personalized care that every patient deserves,” said Pete Govorchin, president of City of Hope Cancer Center Chicago. “His leadership will be instrumental as we implement standardized clinical pathways, enhance subspecialized diagnostic testing, and expand participation in national clinical trials—ensuring that more patients have access to the most advanced and effective cancer treatments available in the Midwest.”

Published in over 400 peer reviewed articles, editorials and book chapters, and over 300 abstracts and scientific presentations, Stadler is well known for his clinical research expertise, particularly in new drug developments in genitourinary cancers and enhanced access to clinical trials for underserved communities. He has led several investigator-initiated clinical trials for prostate cancer focused on decreasing toxicity and cost of care.

Board certified in medical oncology, Stadler’s clinical focus on GU cancer treatment and research is driven by a passion for providing patients with a higher quality of life and reducing disparities for cancer patients everywhere.

“City of Hope is a national leader in expanding access to leading-edge cancer care and clinical trials, and reducing disparities in treatment,” said Stadler. “I share those same goals, and together we are bringing the best cancer programs, brilliant clinical talent, innovative technology and progressive research to the patients and families who need it in our community.”
