Integrative Genomics and Bioinformatics Equipment
Using microarray and high-throughput sequencing technologies, the Integrative Genomics Core provides high-quality, efficient, comprehensive, and cost-effective genomic services to City of Hope® researchers. The Core also provides basic and advanced data analysis services designed to make complex data biologically interpretable by clinical and basic scientists.
Research reported in this publication included work performed in the Integrative Genomics Core and supported by the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health under award number P30CA33572. The content is solely the responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily represent the official views of the National Institutes of Health.
This core is a Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) Sponsored Core.
10X Genomics Chromium
This single cell genomics instrument can be used to study RNA and DNA on single cell level. It has been used for RNA-seq, VDJ-seq, ATAC-seq and many more are coming.
Agilent Bioanalyzer 2100
This instrument is used to provide quality control and quantification of DNA and RNA samples.
Biotek Synergy LX Plate Reader
This instrument provide quantification of DNA or RNA samples up to 96 samples at a time.
Covaris LE220 Plus Sonicator
The LE220 reproducibly shears DNA to desired lengths, in a multi-sample parallel-processing mode.
Eppendorf epMotion 5073
This liquid handling instrument provides automation solution for smaller scale applications, such as beads purification and PCR assays.
Eppendorf epMotion 5075t
This liquid handling instrument provides automation solution for NGS library preparation, can speed up the process and ensure better consistency of the results.
Illumina iScan Beadchip System
This microarray platform is used primarily for GWAS and DNA methylation applications. Many arrays with different throughputs are available.
Illumina miSeq Sequencer
This high throughput sequencer generates 20-25M reads with length up to 300bp
Illumina NextSeq 2000
This high throughput sequencer generates up to 1.2 billion reads in paired-end 150bp.
Qubit Flurometer
This instrument is used to provide quantification of DNA samples.
