Help with Pricing, Billing and Financial Assistance

At City of Hope, we recognize how complicated it can be for patients and their caregivers to navigate pricing and payment questions. We aim to ensure that you and your loved ones get the best answers. Below, you can find information about our pricing, determining whether your insurance is accepted, contacting our financial counselors, City of Hope’s financial assistance program and application, and other helpful resources.

Financial Assistance

City of Hope understands that treating cancer can be costly — often due to expenses related to time away from work and care for dependents. Our social services, payment programs and financial counselors can help make these cancer-related costs more manageable and lessen their impact.

If you and your loved ones have substantial financial needs and cannot afford care, you may be eligible for assistance under the City of Hope Financial Assistance Policy. To see if you qualify, you must fill out the evaluation form (English | Spanish | Chinese) and submit all required documents.

Financial Assistance and Collections Policies

No Surprise Billing

You are protected from balance billing when you're treated by an out-of-network provider at an in-network facility. In these cases, you shouldn't be charged more than your plan's copayments, coinsurance or deductible.
