Erectile Dysfunction

At City of Hope, we diagnose erectile dysfunction by identifying reversible causes, discussing previous treatments and conducting a thorough medical history and physical examination. We may also perform injection testing to determine if there is a normal response to medications that induce erections. This process not only aids in diagnosis but also introduces various treatment options for erectile dysfunction, including lifestyle modifications, oral medications and surgical interventions.

Female Pelvic Reconstruction

City of Hope treats patients with various conditions affecting the pelvic floor. These conditions can result from the after-effects of cancer treatments, such as surgery and radiation, as well as spinal cord injuries, trauma and aging. Common issues include pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence and fecal incontinence.

Our complex pelvic reconstruction program features expert urogynecologists who utilize minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery to restore pelvic anatomy, improve continence and enhance sexual function. Female and Male Incontinence

Involuntary urine leakage is a common issue that many Californians face, but there is hope for successful treatment. If you are experiencing the frustration or embarrassment that can come with incontinence, reach out to City of Hope. Our skilled team of urologists employs advanced techniques to address all types of male incontinence, including stress urinary incontinence, overflow incontinence or urge urinary incontinence. 

Urethral Strictures

Our highly skilled team at City of Hope will develop a personalized plan tailored to your specific diagnosis and treatment needs. This team includes fellowship-trained urologists who specialize in the repair of urethral strictures, including treatments for bladder neck contractures that can occur after previous treatments for an enlarged prostate. In advanced cases, more aggressive approaches may be necessary. We currently perform anastomosis revision surgery and bladder augmentation surgeries. If a patient cannot tolerate a large operation, we can also place a Foley catheter to assist with bladder drainage. We are here to help you find a solution.

Uteteral Strictures
