Pathology Biorepository
City of Hope's Pathology Repository, also known as the solid tumor biorepository, serves as a mechanism for the procurement processing, management storage and distribution of fresh and banked human biological materials from patients seen at City of Hope Medical Center ("City of Hope'') and affiliated institutions. These patients have been diagnosed or are suspected of having solid tumor malignancies. Investigators who wish to obtain tissue for research must submit a request form with specifications of the needs of the study in accordance with their study application in iRIS. All proposals for research using freshly procured and banked human biological materials will be reviewed and approved by the appropriate Disease Team, the IRB and BDRC.
