Riley Jackson
President
High school Junior Riley Jackson was born and raised in Southern California and has had the opportunity to be a part of the film industry from a young age. She became aware of the City of Hope when her mom had successful surgery at its cutting-edge hospital several years ago. Riley wanted to get involved and helped launch the City of Hope’s inaugural ‘Celebrity Sale 4 Hope’ event. The event was sponsored by Variety Magazine and featured items up for auction from celebrities such as Barbra Streisand, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Hugh Jackman and many others.
She especially enjoyed co-hosting the event with Eric McCormack, John Schneider and others. After the success of the event, Riley was asked to form the City of Hope’s first ever Junior Board of directors to support the City of Hope’s Teen program. First on the agenda is a $19.13 campaign to honor the year that the City of Hope was established. Further, planning for a yearly star-studded Halloween extravaganza to raise funds and awareness is now underway. In addition to being a strong student, Riley loves the creative side of life. She especially enjoys acting and writing music, and plays the piano, guitar and drums.
