City of Hope strives to decrease health disparities in our service area in multiple ways, from creating major institutional shifts in thinking about community benefits to organizing thoughtful collaborations to address root causes of barriers to good health.
City of Hope has launched a five-year comprehensive cancer prevention initiative funded by a grant from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. The goal is to reduce chronic disease risks specifically related to cancer and diabetes in the Greater Los Angeles area by promoting healthy eating and physical activity among families throughout the San Gabriel Valley.
Diversity and inclusion is a core value at the heart of our mission. It is an integral part of who we are as an institution, how we operate and how we see our future.
