Division of Neurology
Our board-certified neurologist provides expert consultative services for inpatients and outpatients with neurologic conditions related to cancer, cancer therapy and diabetes. We advise state-of-the-art treatment for a wide range of conditions, including headaches, seizures, neuropathy, dementia and "chemobrain."
Our scope of services include:
- Administration of BOTOX injection for chronic migraine, cervical dystonia and limb dystonia.
- Neurodiagnostic electrophysiologic tests conducted by a certified technician and interpreted by a board-certified neurologist, such as EEG (electroencephalogram), evoked potentials, audiogram, NCS (nerve conduction studies) and EMG (electromyography).
- In addition to pharmacological management of neuropathy, we also offer biophysical treatment of chemotherapy-induced neuropathy and diabetic neuropathy, such as with the Calmare device and other novel modalities.
