Nadia Carlesso Lab
Research Lab Overview
The long-term goal of our research is to understand the mechanisms regulating normal and malignant hematopoietic stem cells to identify novel approaches for treating bone marrow (BM) failures and leukemias and improving stem cell transplant. We are investigating the role of Notch in maintaining the integrity of the BM niche, the link between inflammation and leukemogenesis, and the contribution of the BM microenvironment and inflammation to leukemia progression and bone marrow failure.
