The City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte interventional radiology team is staffed by a dedicated group of health care professionals who are committed to providing exceptional patient care, clinical and translational research, and educational programs for our patients and the community at large. Our team performs a wide range of interventional radiology procedures in the Los Angeles area, including prostate artery embolization, thyroid nodule ablation, kyphoplasty and many other services.
Our Interventional Radiologists
Jonathan Kessler, M.D., is an interventional radiologist specializing in colon, liver, kidney cancers.
Edward Boas, M.D., Ph.D., is an interventional radiologist.
Dr. Cherng Chao is an interventional radiologist in the Los Angeles area who uses image-guided therapies to diagnose and treat both benign and malignant conditions.
Taedo (Jake) Choi, M.D., is an interventional radiologist at City of Hope Cancer Center Duarte, where he uses image-guided, minimally invasive procedures to help diagnose and treat a wide variety of cancer types.
