Medical Oncology Research
The Department of Medical Oncology & Therapeutics Research collaborates with City of Hope's comprehensive cancer center's Developmental Cancer Therapeutics Program to develop next-generation cancer therapies that are more effective and less toxic to the patient. Our multidisciplinary program includes basic, translational and clinical research and fosters collaborations among scientists and clinicians. This synergistic effort aims to spark novel ideas that become new laboratory discoveries, which can transform into promising treatments for cancer patients with fewer or no other options. City of Hope's clinical trials study many of these therapies, which are open to our patients who meet eligibility criteria.
